We offer a nurturing and playful environment for children to explore and MOVE.
In Yoga Workshop we will explore movement, asana (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), chanting, mindfulness practices such as mindful walking, eating, listening, yoga nidra, journaling, storytelling and mandala creation.
Yoga means “union”. Imagine the union of a deep connection to nature and all life.
During Forest School, and Nurturing Roots outdoor programs, we weave yoga into all of our outdoor experiences. We weave pranayama, asana, mindfulness, mudras, chanting into our hikes and creek explorations…all with a playful and adventurous spirit.
We are currently creating materials to share, and will post them here freely as they become available.

Yoga for Children with Special Rights
I have two ongoing weekly spaces available for Yoga for Children with Special Rights. These are weekly 1:1 sessions lasting 30 minutes. I currently work with children from age 1-8 years of age. These are free offerings, so please pass along if you know of a family that could benefit. Donations welcome to support this work.
